Root cause diagnostics

40+ biomarkers tested

Comprehensive hormone analysis

  • Total Testosterone
  • Free Testosterone
  • Estrogen (Estradiol)
  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH)
  • Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH)
  • Prolactin
  • Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)

This panel evaluates testosterone production, availability, and regulation, along with key hormones that influence libido, energy, mood, muscle mass, and reproductive health. Healthy testosterone production helps you feel energized, mentally sharp, physically strong, and more confident in your body.

*Some optional biomarkers may require out-of-pocket payment if not covered by insurance.

Thyroid function

  • Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
  • Free T3
  • Free T4

This panel assesses how efficiently the thyroid regulates metabolism, energy levels, weight management, and cognitive function.

*Some optional biomarkers may require out-of-pocket payment if not covered by insurance.

Inflammation & blood health

  • Hemoglobin (HGB)
  • Hematocrit (HCT)
  • CBC with differential
  • hs-CRP

This panel evaluates red blood cell concentration and oxygen-carrying capacity, which can be influenced by testosterone levels.

Cardiovascular & brain health

  • Total Cholesterol
  • LDL Cholesterol
  • HDL Cholesterol
  • Triglycerides
  • ApoB

This panel provides insight into cardiovascular risk and lipid balance, which are closely linked to hormone production, circulation, and long-term health. Healthy cholesterol levels help your body produce the testosterone it needs so you can feel more energized and focused.

*Some optional biomarkers may require out-of-pocket payment if not covered by insurance.

Metabolic health

  • Fasting Glucose
  • Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)
  • Ferritin
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin D*
  • Vitamin C*

These markers evaluate blood sugar regulation, insulin sensitivity, and iron storage—factors that directly influence energy, fat metabolism, inflammation, and hormone signaling.

*Some optional biomarkers may require out-of-pocket payment if not covered by insurance.

Liver & kidney function

  • Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT)
  • Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP)
  • Creatinine

These markers assess how effectively the liver and kidneys process hormones, medications, and metabolic side effects to optimize hormones and support long-term treatment.

*Some optional biomarkers may require out-of-pocket payment if not covered by insurance.

Up to 1 in 4 men (ages 30–79) experience low testosterone¹

¹ Araujo et al., Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism

Testosterone declines 1–2% per year after age 30

² Longitudinal aging studies30, testosterone levels decline 1-2% every year with aging.

Frequently asked questions

What is Testosterone?

Testosterone is a key hormone responsible for energy levels, muscle mass, fat distribution, libido, and mood. As men age, testosterone levels naturally decline, but other factors like stress, poor sleep, medical conditions, or lifestyle habits can also contribute to low levels. When testosterone drops below optimal levels, it can lead to fatigue, weight gain, low libido, and reduced muscle mass, which the Men’s Hormone Health Program can help address.

How does the virtual Men’s Hormone Health program work?

Our virtual Men’s Hormone Health program starts with a quick online health assessment, followed by a comprehensive biomarker blood panel to evaluate your hormone levels and overall health. After your results are reviewed, you’ll have a video consultation with a licensed clinician to discuss your symptoms and receive a personalized treatment plan. If prescribed, your medication is shipped directly to you in a three-month supply, with quarterly follow-ups to monitor progress and adjust your treatment as needed. A complimentary wellness call addressing your lifestyle, goals, nutrition, stress and sleep with an expert health coach is available for all active subscriptions.

What does the blood work include and when should it be done?

Our comprehensive biomarker blood panel measures testosterone levels, key hormone markers, and overall health indicators to assess if TRT is right for you. Blood work should be completed in the morning between 7am-10am, after a 12-hour fast, as testosterone levels are highest at this time.

How much does the Men's Hormone Health program cost?

Your initial investment includes:

  • $50 for comprehensive bloodwork
  • $150 clinician consultation fee (only charged if treatment is prescribed)

Ongoing care is $200 per quarter, which includes your virtual clinician consultation, lab review, treatment optimization, and continuous monitoring. In some cases, semi-annual visits may be appropriate based on clinical progress.

Your program includes far more than a prescription:

  • Comprehensive hormone and metabolic panel
  • Personalized treatment strategy
  • Expert-guided therapeutics (when appropriate)
  • Quarterly clinician oversight
  • Unlimited health coach support
  • Dedicated wellness check-ins
  • Structured lifestyle and performance protocols

This is continuous, precision-guided care designed to optimize results safely and sustainably.

Medication costs are billed separately.

What are the benefits of HRT and how soon will I see results?

HRT works by restoring hormone levels to a more optimal range, helping you feel and perform like yourself again.

0–3 months: Many patients notice increased energy, improved mood, and stronger libido as levels stabilize. In fact, 88% of Science & Humans patients report symptom improvement within 90 days*.

3–6 months: Improvements in muscle tone, fat distribution, and sexual function become more noticeable.

6–12 months: Benefits continue to build, supporting metabolic health, bone density, and sustained symptom relief.

Results develop progressively and are optimized through ongoing monitoring and personalized care. Individual results may vary.

*Based on Science & Humans clinical care data

What treatment options are available for low testosterone?

HRT can be administered through injections, gels, or creams, depending on your preferences and medical history. Your clinician will guide you in choosing the best method for your lifestyle and treatment goals.
