Refund Policy

Note: This refund policy applies only to individual purchases made directly through Science&Humans. It does not apply to members enrolled under a group benefits plan. If you receive our services through a group or employer-sponsored benefits program, please refer to your plan administrator or group policy documentation for details on refunds, cancellations, and coverage.

At Science&Humans, we strive to offer high-quality care and clear communication around pricing. Please review our refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

 

Subscription-Based Care Model

Our care programs operate on a subscription-based model, meaning your consultations are automatically billed approximately every 3 months. This ensures you receive continuous, uninterrupted support without needing to manually book each renewal.

 

Consultations & Appointments

Consultation Fee ($150-$300): This fee is non-refundable once your lab results have been received and you have been marked eligible, as a follow-up consultation is required by regulation.

Cancellations: Appointments cancelled within 5 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable. To avoid charges, please notify us at least 5 hours in advance.

No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without notice, you’ll be charged $50 for a no show fee. We understand things come up—just let us know if you need to reschedule.

 

Lab Testing & Requisitions

Lab requisitions are single-use and linked to your specific program. Any attempt to reuse a requisition will incur additional penalty fees. Refunds are not provided for lab requisitions once issued.

 

Programs & Memberships

Fees for programs such as hormone support, weight loss, or hair loss are non-refundable once a treatment plan or prescription has been initiated.

Cancel anytime before renewals by sending us an email.

 

Prescription Medications

Prescription orders are non-refundable, including those filled through partner or preferred pharmacies.

Once a prescription is processed, we are unable to cancel or alter the order due to pharmacy fulfillment policies.

Please note that any additional medications prescribed will be subject to a $25 service fee.

 

Pharmacy Preferences

By default, your prescription is sent to our preferred pharmacy.

Requests to use a different pharmacy are subject to a $25 administrative fee to facilitate coordination.
